Student Supports and Title I
TITLE I PROGRAM
Each year, the KASD applies for Title I Grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. We utilize these funds to support our Title I Reading program which is led by our Reading Specialist. The program is designed to provide a safety net of intervnetions to support the growth of those students who present challenges in reading. A major part of the success of any Title I program is the support and involvement of parents. As part of the Title I grant guidelines, schools must have a home/school parent compact and a parent involvement policy. These documents are attached and available for your review. Should you have any questions regarding our Title I Reading program at Kutztown Elementary School, please contact our Reading Specialist at 610-683-3557.
